Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Shershaah Shooting Is All About Their Fun Break And Some Cricket In Ladakh
Dharma movies posted a photo of Sidharth Malhotra playing cricket and captioned it as “Mid shoot breaks call for some fours & sixes!”

productions is currently shooting in Ladakh for their upcoming movie titled Shershah,
a biopic based on the life of an Indian Army officer Captain Vikram Batra
starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani as main leads, produced by Karana
Johar. Even after the revoking of Article 370, the team has been peacefully
filming in the newly formed union territory of Ladakh.
Kargil
Hero Vikram Batra’s biopic was announced in May 2019 and Karan Johar had
proudly declared that he is happy to make a film on Vikram Batra, a martyr of
Kargil who is remembered for his unparallel bravery and his ability to laugh
even at the face of adversities. Sidharth Malhotra will be portraying the
role of Vikram Batra and Kiara Advani as the leading lady i.e Batra’s
girlfriend Dimple Cheema. As the shoot is going on Sidharth Malhotra posted a
picture of himself playing cricket in the serene location. He captioned it
"Mid shoot breaks call for some fours & sixes "
The
movie is being shot extensively on beautiful locations like Chandigarh,
Palampur, Kashmir and Ladakh. In the instagram post Siddharth Malhotra can be
seen having a great time playing cricket with the crew amidst Ladakh’s
phenomenal beauty. The film is directed by Vishnu Varadhan who is a popular
Tamil director. He has earlier directed films like Billa, which is an all-time
blockbuster, and Arrambam.
Siddharth
Malhotra has been going through intense military training sesh for this movie.According
to a press release as quoted by Firstpost, "Sidharth along with cast was
training on army drills and learnt the use of military weapons. This training
is to get the body language and army etiquettes correct." Well with
all such intensive training and shooting together, ‘Break To Banta Hai’. Movie
release date is yet to be out, so stay tuned to know when it’s going to hit the
theaters near you.
